How to service and repair the Headlight Switch on Ford E-150 Econoline?

In order to service the headlamp switch, disconnect the battery ground, disassemble the instrument panel finish panel and remove the instrument panel switch bolts. Loose the electrical connector and strip away the switch. Reverse procedure and reinstall. It is important to note that until the vehicle learns its adaptive strategy again, then the vehicle might exhibit abnormal drive symptoms after reattaching the battery.
