Before servicing the rear wiper blade users should protect both the wiper arm and glass surface by avoiding excessive wiper arm movement that would snap it against the glass. Start by grasping the wiper arm next to its pivot joint and pull it so it reaches maximum angle position. Hold the wiper blade main structure directly by your other hand near its pivoting point. Pressure should be applied to the joint directly from the bottom to detach the blade from the arm.
