How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module for Hydraulic Control Assembly on Built Before 11/30/00 on Ford Excursion?

To service the hydraulic control assembly of antilock brakes of pre-11/30/00 vehicles, disconnect the battery, disconnect air cleaner and EVAP canister on F250-550 models and plug ports prior to disconnection of brake lines. To do this, take off the EHCU, and then do the same thing to install it back, bleeding the EHCU in the process.

How to Service the ABS Control Module on Ford Excursion?

When servicing the Electronic Brake Control Module, observe precautions when in stationary position. With diesel cars, take out the battery tray and with gas cars, disconnect the battery ground, air cleaner, and EVAP canister. Unscrew, remove 3 connectors and lift the module. Restall with reversibility, observe possible drive symptoms of relearning.
