An engine oil dip stick service requires technicians to first detach the combination of both engine air cleaner and air cleaner outlet tube before proceeding. After removing the left exhaust manifold you should break the bolt free to detach the oil level indicator tube. Check the oil depth indicator tube for signs of damage. The left exhaust manifold installation method requires the opposite order of removal steps while including fresh O-ring seals that need clean engine oil lubrication for installation purposes.
