What precautions should be taken when servicing the fuel pressure regulator on Ford Expedition?

During fuel pressure regulator servicing, do not smoke or burn around fuel parts because it is flammable. Before disconnection of lines, relieve fuel pressure. Take out vacuum hose, snap ring and regulator then old O-rings are disposed. Install new fuel-resistant O-rings, lubricate with clean engine oil and invert the removal process to install.
