Then discard it. The left-hand (Lh) shift knob cover requires the same procedure of removal with disposal. Check that the Lh and Rh knob body towers exist undamaged before discarding both the Lh and Rh shift knob screws. The Tow/Haul switch electrical connector needs removal before you can take out the shift knob. First, connect the Tow/Haul switch electrical connector then install the shift knob and finally fix a new Lh shift knob screw with a torque setting of 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
