How to service and repair the auxiliary blower motor on Ford Explorer?

In order to service and repair the auxiliary blower motor, remove the access panel and vent tube first. Then unscrew the three screws and disconnect the electrical connector of the blower motor. Take off the blower motor, the retainer and wheel. In order to complete the installation, it is just necessary to reverse the steps of removal.

In order to service the blower motor, unattach the battery ground cable, the speed control servo, and move the coolant/washer reservoir aside. Next, remove the electrical connector, the vent hose, and four screws to get the blower motor out. Installation is reverse.
