How to Remove and Install an A/C Switch in a Climate Control Assembly on Ford Explorer?

The service process for the climate control assembly begins with separating the center instrument panel finish panel. The first step includes removing four screws which secure the climate control assembly after which you should remove the assembly itself. The climate control knobs must be removed from vehicles with manual control systems before the technician can detach the blower motor switch and function selector switch by pressing on their tabs. The installation process of new components follows the exact reverse steps for removal. Install a new dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module only if it comes preconfigured for the particular vehicle.
