How to Safely and Effectively Service the Headlight Bulb on Ford Explorer?

When changing the head lamp bulb, work with the halogen light bulb with caution to avoid being injured. Do not take the bulb out until you are ready to install another one because the contaminants might interfere with performance. To take out the bulb, take off the headlamp assembly, turn the bulb sockets to take out the bulb, and vice versa.

How to Service the Front Headlight Bulb on Ford Explorer?

To replace the headlamp bulb on the Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac or Mountaineer, use the bulb holding to the base to prevent breaking. To avoid the bulb, remove the headlamp assembly and then turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it. Install the new bulb following the steps of removing it in reverse.
