The cruise control servo repair process starts with taking out the nut and bolt which fasten the accelerator control splash shield. The first step involves removing the speed control servo from the inner fender by taking off the disconnected speed control cable end from its position on the throttle nail head. The first step requires you to remove the speed control servo bracket mounting bolts followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. A user can pop open the locking tab and rotate the speed control cable cap to take it off. To proceed with the speed control core wire end removal from the speed control servo pulley you must gently push the retaining spring followed by removing the speed control cable slug from within the pulley. The next step requires users to remove the speed control servo mounting bolts then separate the bracket from the servo. Reverse the removal sequence to mount the component as you put back the rubber seal onto the speed control cable cap.
