How to service and repair the heater core on Ford Explorer Sport?

To service the core heater, take out the A/C evaporator housing, instrument panel and Powertrain Control Module. Test leakage, as necessary, then remove the heater core cover and the plenum chamber. Add new foam seal to the exit and entry tubes, and repeat the process in order to reinstall.
