Take care when separating the seat cushion frame side shield because damaging the tabs remains a possibility. Start by disconnecting the power lumbar switch electrical connector together with the power lumbar hose from the switch and then disconnect the heated seat switch electrical connector. Push the heated seat switch up while holding its retainer tabs and pull the switch out of the seat side shield.
