The knock sensor service requires starting with intake manifold removal. Service of the knock sensor begins with disconnection of the KS electrical connector and subsequent unbolt of the KS. Add the new KS before completing the installation by proceeding with the reverse steps while tightening the new KS bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
