How to service and repair the automatic transmission shifter on Ford F-150?

In order to service the automatic transmission shifter, remove ignition switch lock cylinder and upper steering column shroud. Unplug and unscrew the electrical connector and take out the gearshift lever by getting rid of its pin. Reinstallation - Swap the pin with another one, but in the opposite sequence.
