How to service and repair the brake pedal assembly for both fixed automatic and manual transmission on Ford F-150?

In order to fix brake pedal assembly in both the automatic and manual cars, one has to disconnect the battery, deassemble the stop light switch and remove the brake pedal bracket. Keep the brake master cylinder in position and then loosen bolts. In the case of a manual car, disconnect the master cylinder of the clutch. Follow the process backwards to reinstall.
