How to service the A/C Hose from the condenser to the evaporator on Ford F-150 Heritage?

The initial step for servicing the condenser to evaporator line starts with removing the battery as well as the battery tray. Proper discharging and recovery methods should be used to extract the refrigerant. The A/C evaporator core spring lock coupling should be disconnected while discarding the O-ring seals. Apply a back up wrench to stop movement during disconnection which protects the line and remove the lower condenser fitting while getting rid of its O-ring seal. You must first unfasten the line bracket nut and suction accumulator bracket clamp bolt to extract the condenser to evaporator line. The installation process requires the opposite steps of removal along with new O-ring seals that need clean mineral oil lubrication before the installation of the correct clean mineral oil into the refrigerant system. Complete the refrigeration system maintenance by performing evacuation and leak testing followed by charging procedures as per the supplied instructions. For R-134a refrigerant system O-ring sealing you should apply Refrigerant Compressor Oil F73Z-19577-AA (Motorcraft YN-9-A) while the A/C compressor requires PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or another lubricant which satisfies Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
