Removal To clean the air duct, unscrew the plenum chamber and A/C plenum demister adapter and remove them. Then remove the duct and demister nozzle. To install, go in reverse. In the case of the floor duct, take the restraints control module and instrument panel brace and unscrew the floor duct.

To maintain the intake air duct, de-assemble the accelerator control splash shield, and dis-connect PCV hose, IAT sensor and IAC inlet tube. Use a screwdriver to loosen clamps in order to take off air cleaner outlet tube and resonator. When reinstalling the air cleaner tabs ensure that the air cleaner tabs are properly aligned to avoid unmetered air.
