In servicing fuel pressure regulator, there should be no smoking or open fires because of flammable mixtures. Discharge fuel prior to disconnecting lines. Take away the vacuum hose, snap ring, and ancient regulator. Install new fuel-resistant O-rings, lubricate them with clean engine oil and redo the process of their removal in the reverse order to install.
