Follow these steps to disconnect electrical connectors of the seat control switch along with memory SET switch. The total side shield removal begins with unscrewing front and rear screws before carefully pulling the cushion shield outward to free retainers while reinstalling every retainer to its position on the side shield. Separate the J-clip keeping the backrest cover and unzip the two zippers and route the J-clip through the space between the seat cushion and backrest. The manual adjustable lumbar should be detached from the backrest frame after pinching both lumbar retainers to free the power lumbar assembly and backrest Thermo-Electric Device (TED). The installation of this component mandates that the lumbar arrow should face upward. Disengage the electrical connector of the backrest heater mat while also removing its wire harness. Use the backrest cover and foam pad to expose the power recliner and then unfasten both the torque shaft retainer along with the recline motor bolt.
