How to remove and replace the left-hand parking brake cable on Ford F-250 Super Duty?

To change the cable of parking brake (the left hand) release the parking brake tension, unconnect the cable of the right hand cable and unscrew the bracket bolts. With F-250 and F-350, cable out of the leaf spring assembly. Unattach the cable to the bracket and lever and do the same in order to install.

In order to service the parking brake cable, the LH cowl side trim panel can be removed. De-tension release cables: This is done by pushing down on the intermediate cable until the control sector drops and placing a 4 mm retainer pin. Unconnect the cable, with the union connected, reconnect tension by reversing the order.
