How to Service the Fog Light Bulb on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The service procedure for fog lamp bulbs begins by turning both the headlamp switch and ignition switch off. Position the vehicle into neutral then place it on a hoist. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector followed by rotating the fog lamp bulb counterclockwise at a rate of one-eighth turn to remove it. Handle the bulb by its base only to stay safe because the bulb maintains pressure gas inside which breaks when the glass envelope sustains damage. The glass envelope should never get in contact with body parts and taking out the bulb for more than a reasonable time period leads to performance degradation and dust settlement on the lens and reflector. You should never activate the fog lamps without the bulb properly installed. The process of replacing the new bulb requires following the steps in reverse order of bulb removal.
