How to service and repair the lower control arm on Ford Five Hundred?

To service the lower control arm, have measurements of the hub-to-fender distance and hoist vehicle in neutral. Install and torque different bolts to correct values. Never tighten with new fasteners, or before raising the rear suspension to the same height as when starting the work. Lastly, adjust and check the rear toe.
