Disassemble the evaporator housing and heater core, dash panel seal, and screws connecting the bracket holding the heater core tube support. Next, remove the old heater core and put in the new one by following the same procedure.

How to service the auxiliary heater core on Ford Flex?

The auxiliary heater core can be serviced by draining and removing the LH quarter trim panel. Remove the bracket screw and the screw bracket with the heater core, and the position of the heater core tubes can be placed on a drain pan. Unscrew the inlet and outlet hose, reapply the core and fill the cooling system.
