How to service the auxiliary heater core on Ford Flex?

The service of an auxiliary heater core starts with removing the LH quarter trim panel followed by engine coolant drainage. Begin service of the auxiliary heater core by eliminating the bracket securing screw and separating the bracket from its position. Direct the heater core tubes into a suitable drain receptacle before you loosen the clamps so no coolant fluid can spill into the vehicle. Once those hoses are detached from the heater core you can proceed with the service. Finish the installation of the auxiliary heater core by following the reverse procedure of removal then refill the engine cooling system.
