How to service and repair the Parking Assist Distance Sensor on Ford Flex?

In order to maintain the Parking Assist Distance Sensor, one needs to take off the rear bumper cover and disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor. Disabolish and pull out the sensor(s). To install, follow the steps in the reverse order of the installation and with the help of a scan tool, check that the parking aid sensor PIDs demonstrate that there is no object.
