How to service and repair the seat armrest on Ford Ranger?

In order to repair the seat armrest, switch off the SRS to be on the safe side. Install the bench seat and cupholder, which is wired with harness. Unplug the harness and sensor and take out the armrest assembly. Install armrest, components and reconnect wiring. Lastly, reattach cup holder and bench seat.

How to service the 60 percent bench seat armrest on Ford Ranger?

To service 60 percent bench seat armrest, depower SRS to be on the safe side. Take out the seat, observing the safety belt buckle pretensioner wire harness. Disassemble the pretensioner, the armrest assembly and armrest. Follow the same procedure in terms of reinstating it except that the SRS must be working by the time the vehicle is released.
