How to Maintain the Center Console Base in a Ford Ranger?

The service for the floor console starts with removing the storage tray mat and screw then the front cup holder mat and screw from vehicles with speaker enclosures. Take away push-pins from both left and right hand sides plus detach the front part of the floor console. All vehicles need their front seats pulled to full forward position before you can uninstall the armrest by taking both bolt covers off and the bolts. After installation make sure to tighten bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). Take off the rear floor console screw then shift the front seats to the absolute rear position. To disconnect a car without speaker enclosure you need to take out the drink tray. Clamp the speaker box backward if equipped before removing the floor console through its front screws. When done reverse the installation procedures to finish the work.
