In order to service the hood latch, identify its position, take out the two bolts and keep them aside. Installation- Re-tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb-in). Disconnect the cable of the release lever, take off the latch and invert the process either way, making adjustments to the latch.

Raise and support hood in order to service and repair a hood latch. Notate the latch position, loosen its bolts and place it aside. Unscrew the cable conduit and cable off of the housing and the release lever and pull out the latch completely. Uninstall and reinstall and make changes accordingly.
