How to Service and Repair the Automatic Transmission Shifter on the Column on Ford Taurus?

To maintain the column shift of the automatic transmission, take away the key release lever, ignition switch lock cylinder and lower instrument panel screws. Removal of steering column shrouds, weather seal and range selector parts. Install in reverse then all parts must be installed accurately and the pin of the selector lever properly seated.
