How to service and repair the power mirror switch on Ford Taurus?

In order to fix the power mirror switch, first remove the door trim panel. Next, step 1, to take out the exterior mirror control switch, press the locking tab. Lastly reinstall by simply undoing the steps that were followed during removal.
