Begin by inserting the ignition key into the switch lock cylinder slot and positioning it at RUN before using a punch to depress the release tab meanwhile pulling out the cylinder. Untilt wheel handles should be removed first while both upper and lower steering shrouds need to be unfastened through screw removal. Follow this step by removing the multi-function switch through unscrewing and then disconnecting electrical connectors before removing it from the system. The installation ends by executing the reverse actions from the removal sequence.
