How to service the Brake Light Switch on Ford Taurus X?

In order to maintain the stoplamp switch, unhook the electrical connector. Press the brake pedal a little to open the switch by rotating it 45 degrees clockwise. Install, but do not move the brake pedal, turn it counterclockwise, and reconnect the connector. Check the stop lamps by firing the engine and pressing the brake.
