  A: The first step for servicing the ignition coil-on-plug requires technicians to disconnect the crankcase vent tube quick connect coupling from the valve cover fitting on the LH side followed by placing it to the side. You must take off the upper intake manifold of the RH side to gain access to the ignition coil-on-plugs. Detach the six electrical connectors belonging to the ignition coil-on-plug. A gentle twist motion should be used when removing ignition coil-on-plugs to allow them to pop off easily. Removal of six bolts together with six ignition coil-on-plug units constitutes the process. Secure the installation bolts at 7 Nm torque setting which is equivalent to 62 lb-in. Identify any damage on coil seals which necessitates discarding the faulty items before moving forward. Place every coil seal onto its respective coil until it reaches complete insertion at the uppermost position. The final step in installation requires the reversal of removal steps along with smoothed-application of dielectric grease on coil-on-plug boots before Spark Plug connection.
