The service process for coolant reservoir requires first draining the cooling system. The service on the coolant reservoir begins with removing both the cowl panel grille and working through the 7 bolts that secure the cross vehicle support until torque reaches 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) for installation. Permission the engine ventilation hose and air bleed hose from the degas bottle and place them safely aside before disconnecting the degas bottle return hose. Assist the degas bottle removal by taking off its two retaining bolts but tighten these bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.) when reinstalling. The process should end with filling and bleeding the cooling system while reversing the removal steps.
