How to service and repair the oil pan on Ford Windstar?

In order to replace the oil pan, clean up, and then disassemble the Y-pipe, starter motor. empty the oil, take out the inspection cover, and the oil pan bolts. Clean surfaces, put on sealant and reattach the oil pan, bolts, tightening in that order. Lastly, put back parts and fill engine with oil.
