  Start service and repair of suspension strut and spring assembly through an initial procedure that includes both unlocking the Steering Wheel and vehicle elevation for proper support. Discard the wheel and tire assembly together with the front stabilizer bar link retaining nut as well as the strut and spring retaining bolt. Excessive movement of the halfshaft outward should be avoided because it exposes the tripod CV joint to possible failure through internal separation. Pulling the front wheel knuckle downward releases the strut and spring assembly so support the knuckle when it moves to stabilize the axle. Lower the vehicle position partially and remove the strut along with spring assembly by discarding the three mounting bracket retaining nuts. Obtain the suitable spring compressing tool to manage spring stress before using a crows-foot wrench and 10-mm six-point deep well socket to detach the top shaft retaining nut of the strut assembly but avoid letting the shaft spin. Disconnect the upper washer then the strut mounting bracket and the lower washer and spring seat before removing the bearing assembly followed by the spring compressing tool, coil spring and dust boot together with the jounce bumper and lower spring insulator. Before installing the components check the spring insulator for damage then follow the correct assembly sequence and position all components correctly. Begin assembly by positioning first the lower spring insulator and jounce bumper while following with coil spring then dust boot after which the spring seat accompanies the bearing assembly then lower washer then strut mounting bracket followed by upper washer. After installing the new retaining nut on the shaft top section, you should remove the spring compression tool from the assembly before placing the strut into the vehicle while mounting new bracket nuts. The vehicle needs to be partially lifted while the steering knuckle must align with the strut and spring assembly before installing a replacement pinch bolt. Add the stabilizer link between strut and spring by screwing on a fresh nut before putting back on the wheel assembly together with tire which you will reinstall after the vehicle is lowered.
