How to service the air filter element on Lincoln Continental?

The servicing of the air filter element begins by letting go of the clamp securing the air cleaner cover followed by unfastening the clamp at the throttle body air inlet. Place the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor along with the inlet tube out of the way following which you should remove the air cleaner (ACL) element. Installation should start by reversing all removal steps with proper alignment of the MAF sensor housing tab against the air element housing.
