How to Service the Idle Control Valve on Lincoln Continental?

In order to service the Idle Control Valve, it is necessary to disconnect battery ground cable and air cleaner outlet tube and remove engine control sensor wiring. Take away the accelerator cable shield, accelerator cable and the speed control cable. Unscrew the bolts holding the bracket and the valve and remove the valve and previous gasket. Installation Reverse, and a new gasket.
