In order to fix the heater core, first, a leak test is to be performed. You want to take out the heater core, evaporator housing and the dash panel seal. Assemble the position of the temperature blend door actuator, take away the heater core cover and then the heater core. Put back together by making sure that the seal was properly installed and vice versa.
