The service procedure for front sliding roof opening panel glass begins by opening the VENT position then detaching the top of the concertina blind from the moving glass frame. Tighten the roof opening panel glass front screws to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) while reinstalling yet maintain the sliding glass panel in any position that comes after the VENT option. The two rear screws need removal after which they should be tightened to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during installation. Watch out because the idler mechanism becomes loose after removing the glass panel and keep the idler from moving toward the back to stop the track disconnection. Open the roof panel glass by removing it carefully and reinstall it using the reversed removing steps while operating all roof panel motors as installation resumes.
