How to remove and replace the rear disc brake caliper on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to change the rear brake pad caliper, apply clean brake fluid and take the wheel off. Disengage the parking brake cable, and remove the caliper flow bolt, and guide pin bolts to remove the caliper. Re-assemble and bleed the brake system by installing a new caliper (when damaged), and reassembling.

How to service and repair the front brake caliper on Lincoln MKZ?

To maintain the front brake caliper, make sure that the car is in neutral position on a hoist. Take out the flow bolts and guide pin bolts, screw them with 25 Nm and 27 Nm respectively. Wring out the system and replace broken caliper pistons, make sure guide pin boots are in place, and bleed the system with DOT 3 fluid.
