How to Service and Repair the Front Door Check on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to service/repair the front door check, take out the door trim panel. Installation Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) by removing the door check arm-to-body bolt. Take out the arm-to-door nuts; refit and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). Complete by reversing the removal process.
