How to Service Oxygen Sensors on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to service the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) disconnect the electrical connector and remove the PCV hose. Apply lubrication on sensor threads when necessary and then detach it with the Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Socket. Install the new sensor using anti-seize lubricant and tighten the sensor to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft) reversing the steps of removal.
