How to service the thermostat housing for the 3.5L engine on Lincoln MKZ?

In order to replace the thermostat housing of the 3.5L engine, disconnect the four hoses of the coolant and detach the thermostat. Removal of the two bolts: remove them with a tightening of 10 Nm on re-installation. Taking caution, unscrew the cooling tube with the housing and remove the old O-rings, lubricate the new ones with clean coolant and replace them.
