How to service the brake light switch on Lincoln Navigator?

Maintenance of the brake light switch requires user to first remove the electrical connector which connects to the stoplamp switch. First detach the self-locking pin before removing the stoplamp switch from its positions on the brake booster push rod as well as the brake pedal assembly. Follow the reverse order of the removal procedure when installing the new switch.
