In order to service the headlamp switch on the Expedition, wrap the end of a tool in tape to prevent contact with the trim followed by removing the bezel and disconnection of the connectors. In the case of the Navigator, pull off the finish panel, tabs and unscrew the switch. Installation To install, undo all the steps of removal in all vehicles.

To repair the headlamp switch on the Expedition you need to remove a screw on the left lower instrument panel, and unplug the electrical connector. In the case of the Navigator, take out three screws of the steering column panel. Take out the tabs to take out the switch, and the reverse to fit the new switch.
