How to Properly Maintain and Replace the Knock Sensor in a Lincoln Navigator?

Beginning service of the Knock Sensor (KS) requires first removing the intake manifold. The service procedure begins by disconnecting KS electrical connectors followed by two bolt removal and extraction of both KS units. Tighten the bolts of the new KS to 20 Nm (177 lb-in) after finishing the installation by reversing the removal steps.
