How to service and repair the Parking Assist Distance Sensor on Lincoln Navigator?

The first step for service and repair of the Parking Assist Distance Sensor requires bumper cover removal from the vehicle. First remove the nuts and the foam absorber that is connected to the bumper cover. First disconnect the electrical connectors then free the locking tabs to obtain the ultrasonic sensor units. When working on the Navigator model it is necessary to first disconnect the radar sensor electrical connector and then unscrew the two parking aid radar sensor nuts so that you can remove the radar sensor properly. You should return to the opposite sequence used when removing the components for installation completion.
