How to service and repair the power seat switch on Mercury Cougar?

In repairing power seat switch, it is important to be safe and wait one minute after detaching the battery before touching the air bag module. Disassemble the assembly of the front seat, the outer seat base cover, the wiring harness and the power seat control switch. Installation is reversed.
