How to Service and Repair an Intake Air Duct on Mercury Grand Marquis?

The repair process for the intake air duct starts by removing the engine appearance cover through unfastering the retainer. The first step in servicing the intake air duct requires the removal of both the idle air control valve inlet tube as well as the crankcase ventilation hose. The removal process for the air cleaner outlet tube follows the same steps as the natural gas engine version. After unclamping the tube, remove it from the system. The installation should follow the opposite steps of removal.
