  A: Service and repair work on the throttle body should commence with ensuring safety by staying clear of fuel-related components from open flames and smoking since they contain highly flammable mixtures. Remote the air cleaner outlet pipe before disconnecting the electronic throttle control and Throttle Position Sensor electrical connectors. After breaking loose the four bolts which keep the throttle body in place you should remove them and toss out the TB gasket. The installation requires a fresh TB gasket which you should install together with the four bolts before tightening them starting at 9 Nm (80 lb-in) followed by an additional 90-degree rotation.
